PURPOSE: To correspond easily to color tone subtly different by machine types and improve durability, productivity and discrimination accuracy by laminating a white color member, a colorant layer, an adhesive layer and transparent base material in this order.

CONSTITUTION: A colorant layer 5 is laminated on a white color member 4, and an adhesive layer 6 is then laminated on the surface of the colorant layer 5 to prepare a laminated body 8. A laminating method can be any way such as application and screen printing. Transparent base material 7 is further laminated on the surface of the adhesive layer 6 of this laminated body 8. With the lamination of the transparent base material 7 on the white color member 4 through the colorant layer 5 and the adhesive layer 6, the colorant layer 6 is unexposed and thereby prevented from being flawed to fade or wearing out at the cleaning time. A document cover sheet S1 can thereby correspond easily to color tone subtly different by machine types. The document cover sheet S1 excellent in durability, productivity and document discriminating accuracy can be thus obtained for an image reader.
