Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily generate a document by converting the document generated by another program to format overlay data which can be superimposed on independent job data.
CONSTITUTION: The document desired to use and generated by another program is stored in a spool file 7 in a data format to be outputted to a printer. A data read-in part 3 reads out the data of the document from the spool file 7, and outputs it to a data conversion part 4. The data conversion part 4 converts inputted data to the format overlay data by a corresponding rule between the data format inputted from the printer and the one used in an overlay program. A data storage part 5 stores the format overlay data in a data storage file 6.
