Abstract:
To suppress disturbance of a position and a posture of a document after ejection even when a loading amount of a paper discharge tray increases.SOLUTION: A document feed apparatus includes: a paper feed tray where documents are loaded; a paper discharge tray that is provided below the paper feed tray; and a feed mechanism that feeds documents along a feed path from the paper feed tray to the paper discharge tray via a reading position. The feed mechanism includes: a guide portion 64 that is provided as a feed path on a downstream side in a feed direction of the document with respect to the reading position and includes a paper discharge port where the document is discharged to the paper discharge tray; a first swing axis 661 that swingably supports the guide portion 64 with a width direction of the document intersecting the feed direction as an axial direction; a second swing axis 672 that is provided on a downstream side of the feed direction with respect to the first swing axis 661 and below the guide portion 64 with the width direction as an axial direction; a connection member 67 whose one end is swingably supported by the second swing axis 672 and is slidably provided to the guide portion 64; and a drive potion 68 that swings the connection member 67 about the second swing axis 672.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
