Abstract:
PURPOSE: To set a document smoothly and fix a document guide securely after the setting by providing a stopper to be fixed for movement at an arbitrary position by dint of frictional force.
CONSTITUTION: When a document guide 53 is moved in accordance with a width of a document 51, the document guide 53 is moved without moving resistance and then is fixed for movement at an arbitralry position by a stopper (fixing lever) 11 by dint of frictional force. Accordingly, smooth setting of the document 51 can be performed and secure fixing of the document guide 53 after the setting is also performed.
