Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the freedom degree of a question document and to secure an environment more approximate to an actual examination by comparing the input document data with the optional document data stored in a storage means and analyzing the noncoincident characters such as wrong characters, omitted characters, etc., to display these characters.

CONSTITUTION: A person sitting for an examination inputs the question document of a simulated examination through a keyboard 1, and the input documents are temporarily stored in a text buffer 3. Then the answer document is designated and called out of a readable memory. This called document is sent to the buffer 3. When an execution key is pushed, both input document and called document are stored in an input document data storing buffer 7 and an answer document data storing buffer 8 respectively via a text coding part 6. Then a comparing/rating part 9 compares the contents of both buffers 7 and 8 with each other and decides wrong characters, correct characters, omitted characters, and unnecessary characters through the answer and input document analyzing buffers. An output part 10 displays the rating result.
