Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the working efficiency of a document picture processor by using a means which applies the synthetic processing to the document pictures stored in a document picture storage means. CONSTITUTION:A picture buffer 28 stores temporarily the document pictures received from a scanner device 14 and an optical disk device 18 and transfers these pictures to a display device 12, a printer 16 or the device 18, etc. A picture processing part 30 reads the document pictures out of the buffer 28 and applies such editing processes to these pictures as magnification, reduction, rotation, synthesization, etc. The part 30 stores those processed document pictures in other areas of the buffer 28 or supplies them to those devices 12, 16, 18, etc. Furthermore the part 30 also can store those document pictures supplied from the device 14 or 18 into the buffer 28 after applying said various processes to said pictures.
