PURPOSE: To improve operability at the time of the copying of one row by storing temporarily optional one row among the data of plural rows, and writing the data of the one row portion while inserting it into the space between the optional rows in the data of plural rows.

CONSTITUTION: The data inputted from an inputting means 101 is stored previously extending over plural rows in a storing means 102, and when an instruction is given from the inputting part 101, the optional one row portion of the data of plural rows stored in the data storing means 102 is stored temporarily by a temporary storing means 103. Then, when the further instruction is issued from the inputting means 101, the data of one row portion stored in the temporary storing means 103 is read out by a writing means 104, and this read out data is written as being inserted into the space between the optional rows of the data stored in the data storing means 102. Thus, only the document data by one row portion can be copied, and the operability at the time of the copying is improved.
