Abstract:
PURPOSE: To attain the simple application of a document retrieving device of a network form.
CONSTITUTION: A document retrieving device 1 reads a retrieving sheet by a reading means 5 and sends the image data on the retrieving sheet to other document retrieving devices 2 and 3 containing the file means 7 by a transfer means 6 via a network 4. Then a file management means 8 retrieves the corresponding document out of the means 7 based on the image data that specify the document of the retrieving sheet. Thus the retrived document is received by a receiver means 9 and outputted by an output means 10 in such forms for print, screen display, etc. A deciding means 11 of the device 2 judges whether the corresponding means 7 is contained inn the device 2 itself. If contained, the means 8 retrieves the corresponding document out of the means 7 and outputs it through the means 10 based on the image data that specify the document of the retrieving sheet.
