PURPOSE: To increase the input performance of oscillation system, to lower the minimum resonant frequency, and to increase the workability, by constituting the rim through wide upper end of bobbin of metal material as the stopper end of the vobration plate, in a dome speaker.

CONSTITUTION: The vibration system of the dome speaker consists of the vibration plate 1, edge 2, voice coil 8, bobbin, lead wire 10, and adhesives. The rim is constituted by extending another end of the bobbin 11 having the voice coil at one end externally. The vibration plate 1 is inserted inside the rim 14, it is fixed with the adhesives 12, the lead wire 10 and the edge 2 are fixed external the rim 14, and metal foil having greater thermal conductivity is used for the bobbin 11 from the standpoint of discharge and rim formation.
