Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2010150790
Kind Code:

Abstract:

To provide a domestic water storage facility for securing domestic water such as drinking water required for a specified period to maintain a life in a general dwelling house and an apartment house if natural disasters such as earthquakes, typhoons, flood damage, or the like occurs, or water supply is temporarily cut off due to damage to water pipes or due to the restriction of the water supply.

A clean water storage tank A for reserving domestic water is installed in a dwelling house to use in a natural disaster. Clean water is always stored in the tank A, and the water supply to a bathtub 2 is performed from the water storage tank A at all times. Therefore, the tank A is emptied every day, clean water is supplied to the tank A without delay, and a considerable amount of fresh clean water (approximately 200 liters) is always secured. By urgently using the clean water in the water storage tank for cooking in a kitchen where the clean water is required due to the stop of the water supply to the bathtub 2 and switching a valve in an emergency if water is cut off due to an earthquake or water damage, the life of a four-person family can be maintained for several days to ten days since the water can be used as a temporary domestic water.
