To provide a new door body guide device for a sliding door which can prevent the occurrence of the rattle of the door body used for the sliding door and which can minimize a covered space which exists between door bodies and between the door body and a shutter box.

The door body guide device for the sliding door is provided with the door bodies (DW1, DW2), guide grooves 17, 18, and a guide mechanism 20. The door bodies (DW1, DW2) have freedom of opening and closing movement, and the guide grooves 17, 18 are formed in the opening and closing movement direction of the door body. The guide mechanism 20 guides opening and closing movement of the door body by being inserted and provided in the guide groove. Then the guide mechanism 20 is provided with a plurality of guide rollers which are each attached with flexible rotation with respect to its rotary shaft. When seen in the horizontal direction with respect to the axis of the rotary shaft, the guide rollers adjacent to each other are superimposed on each other.
