PURPOSE: To prevent one's hand from a bruise even when it is put between a door end member and door engaging member for a route bus or the like by having both members constructed to be hollow and closed without internal pressure and supplied pressurized air after the door is completely closed.

CONSTITUTION: When a door switch 1 is closed, an electromagnetic valve 2 is operated to close a door 10. When the door is completely closed air is supplied to and pressureizes a door engaging rubber 8 and door end rubber 9 through the operation of the micro-switch 5, delay device 6 and an electromagnetic valve 7. Also, when the door is opened, the air is released. Since these rubbers are not pressurized before the door is completely closed, one's hand can be pulled out of these rubbers without any bruises even when it is sandwiched by them.
