To rest a door surely at an arbitrary opening angle while easily releasing a standstill state.
An arm 22 rotatably installed to a car body 10 by a support pin 21 is inserted into a door 12. A roller 32 as a press-contact member is mounted on the door 12, and a roller 37 as a braking member is arranged oppositely on the lower side of the roller 32 through the arm 22. A clamping block 34 as a clamping member bringing the roller 37 into contact with the arm 22 is set up, and the clamping block 34 is moved to a checker operative place and an inoperative place. An inclined plane 36 on the closing side pushing the roller 37 against the arm 22 when the door 12 is moved in the direction that the door 12 is closed at the time of checker operation and an inclined plane 35 on the opening side pushing the roller 37 against the arm 22 when the door 12 is shifted in the direction that the door 12 is opened are formed to the clamping block 34.
