Abstract:
To provide a door closer capable of suppressing an increase in a manufacturing cost due to an installation of an expansion absorption member.SOLUTION: A door closer comprises: a housing 10 including an oil chamber 20 filled with hydraulic oil; a piston 30 that is disposed in the oil chamber 20 and moves in the oil chamber with open/close operation of a door; a coil spring that is disposed in the oil chamber 20 and presses the piston 30; and a speed control portion 70 that controls a door closing speed by controlling a flow of the hydraulic oil with movement of the piston 30. The piston 70 includes a large diameter portion having an outer peripheral surface 32a fitting the oil chamber 20 at an axial direction end portion pressed by the coil spring. On the outer peripheral surface 32a, an oil passage groove 38 is formed to allow a flow of the hydraulic oil between one end side region and the other end side region of the large diameter portion in an axial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
