Abstract:
To provide a door closer capable of easily securing a necessary closing force.SOLUTION: The door closer includes: a main shaft 11 that rotates on the axis in the predetermined direction as the door opens and closes; cams 13a and 13b that are provided on the main shaft 11 and rotate together with the main shaft 11; a piston 12 that moves in a direction perpendicular to the predetermined direction by a rack and pinion mechanism as the main shaft 11 rotates; a first spring 17 that elastically deforms when the door opens and restores itself to generate a closing force when the door closes; and a second spring 18 that is provided separately from a first spring 17 configured to deform elastically when the door opens, and restores when the door closes and generates a closing force. The door closer is configured so that, when the door opens, the cams 13a and 13b elastically deform the first spring 17, and when the door opens, the cams 13a and 13b elastically deform the second spring 18 from the closed state to a predetermined opening angle, and when the door opens beyond the predetermined opening angle, a piston elastically deforms the second spring.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
