Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door closer having a self-closing function and a braking function with a thin thickness without taking a large installation space.
SOLUTION: A self-closing means (11) having the self-closing function and a braking means (12) having the braking function are arranged in the opening and closing direction of a door in series inside a door closer body (10). A rotational plate (28) of the self-closing means and a braking plate (45) of the braking means are formed into a gear, and both of them are engaged with each other by an intermediate gear (69) or not by the intermediate gear.
