Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door closer that can secure a decelerated door closing speed region while closing the door promptly.SOLUTION: A door closer 1 includes a reel 24 rotatably attached to an exterior case 10, a wire rope 3 wound around the reel 24 so as to be capable of being wound up and reeled out, a spiral spring 25 in which a rotational force in a winding direction is accumulated with respect to the reel 24 when the wire rope 3 is reeled out from the reel 24, and a brake damper portion 50 that transmits, when a rotational force in the wound-up direction is input to the damper gear 51, the resulting rotational force, via a one-way clutch 52, to the rotary damper 53, the brake damper portion 50 being configured such that when the rotation of the reel 24 is transmitted to the control gear main body 41 via the reel gear 30 and rotates, the control gear 44 of the control gear main body 41 is intermittently connected to the damper gear 51 of the brake damper portion 50.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
