To provide a door closing device using a cam and a spring for automatically closing a door being opened while allowing a user to control a closing speed.
The door closing device comprises the cam 30 fixed to the other side of a housing 20 and having an annular guide face 31 protruded toward the inside of the housing 20, a guide 40 having a disc portion, a sliding portion through-hole formed in the center into a shape corresponding to the sectional shape of a sliding portion 12 and a key 43 protruded from the disc portion movably along the guide face 31 of the cam 30, the disc portion having an outer peripheral face in contact with the inner peripheral face of the housing 20 for linear motion, and a compression spring 50 arranged between a compression spring supporting portion 13 of a shaft 10 and the disc portion of the guide 40 to embrace the shaft 10.
