Abstract:
PURPOSE: To sufficiently widen the area of a space in a toilet room in its occupied state in comparison with its unoccupied state.
CONSTITUTION: The door device of a toilet is composed of two elements 1, 2 formed into an about quarter cylindrical shape and an interlocking mechanism to simultaneously rotate these elements in mutually opposite directions. Both side edges 1a, 1b of the one element of the above two elements is made to correspond to both the side edges 2a, 2b of the other element, and a state where the area of a toilet room becomes narrower of two states obtained by placing the corresponding side edges opposite to each other is established as the unoccupied state of the toilet, and a state where the area of the toilet becomes wider is established as the occupied state of the toilet.
