This door device is provided with a frame 2 provided in an opening part of a building and a door 4 provided openably and closably in the frame 2, an electric lock 10 or a manually operated lock is provided in the frame 2 or a sleeve part 5 provided in the frame 2, and a receiving seat 12 with which a dead bolt 11 of the electric lock 10 or the manually operated lock is engaged is provided on the door 4. A recessed part 20 is provided on an indoor face of the frame 2 or the sleeve part 5, and a thumb turn 14 for locking and unlocking the electric lock 10 or the manually operated lock from an indoor side is provided in the recessed part 20.
