Abstract:
To provide a door device having a driving mechanism configured by combining a chain and a sprocket, having a small front-rear dimension, i.e. a thickness, capable of being installed in a narrow place.SOLUTION: A platform door device 1 comprises: a fixing part 3 fixed on a platform 2; a door body 4 supported on the fixing part 3 so as to freely move forward and backward; a chain 15 extended across the door body 4; a sprocket 10 engaged with the chain 15; and a rotary motor 9 fixed on the fixing part 3 for rotating the sprocket 10. The chain 15 is provided inside a cross-sectional profile of the door body 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
