PURPOSE: To obtain a door drive controlling device with which a door can be moved at least to a 0% position and a 100% position when a potentiometer circuit is failed, and which can restore to a normal control condition simply by changing a desired opening degree when a potentiometer detection value shows an abnormality by an error.
CONSTITUTION: An air conditioning door 1 of which opening degree can be freely adjusted between 0% and 100% is provided. An actuator 2 to drive the door 1 and a potensiometer 3 to detect an opening degree of the door 1 are also provided. A potentiometer detection value upper and lower limit regulating means 4 is provided so that when a detection value θx of the potentiometer 3 is a%≤θx≤b%(0<a<b<100), an output is made as a door opening degree θx'=θx, and that when θx<1%<or θx> b%, an output is made as the door opening degree θx'=a% or the door opening degree θx'=b%. The actuator 2 is driven, and at the timing the door opening degree θx' gets within a tolerable range of a separately set desired door opening degree θOBJ, a drive control is performed by an actuator drive controlling means 5 to stop driving the actuator 2.
