To provide a door frame which is exchangeable even after a post-process of door frame installation without providing a jamb with a clearance for mounting a head jamb.
A door frame 10 is comprised of: a pair of jambs 1 surrounding a door and vertically extending along both ends in the width direction of the door on the outside of both the ends; and a head jamb 2 horizontally extending along an upper frame of the door on the upper side of the upper frame and having both ends respectively in contact with the inner surfaces of the jamb 1. Each of the pair of jambs 1 has a dowel 1a with one end fixed to the upper end part of the jamb 1 and horizontally extending inward of width direction. The head jamb 2 has horizontal grooves 2a for accommodating the dowels 1a in its upper surface and fixing members 5 embedded in both ends on its upper end side and detachably fixing both ends of the head jamb 2 to the jambs 1 respectively.
