To provide a door handle device easy in assembling work, while reducing cost by reducing the number of part items.

In this door handle device, a holding member 20 is installed in a pedestal 10 installed in a door 2; an operation member 30 is rockingly installed in the horizontal direction in this holding member 20 by a vertical shaft 50; an action member 40 is rockingly installed in the vertical ditrection in the holding member 20 by a horizontal shaft 51; a driving pin 52 is arranged in the operation member 30; this driving pin 52 is inserted into a driving hole 44 of the action member 40; the action member 40 rocks by the driving pin 52; and rocking of the operation member 30 is regulated by allowing this driving pin 52 to abut on an end part of an elongate hole 53 of the holding member 20. Thus, since the rocking is regulated by the driving pin 52, there is no need to separately arrange a pin for regulating the rocking, and the number of part items is reduced.
