Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a safety and a convenience for operation of a vehicle by properly selecting the lock condition of a door lock mechanism according to the state of the present vehicle position.
SOLUTION: When a predetermined stop time of a vehicle at a stop position becomes long, a navigation device is used as a means to switch the lock condition of a door lock mechanism automatically to the unlock condition to judge whether the present position is a crossing or a highway. A means to switch the lock condition of the door lock mechanism automatically to the unlock condition is provided so as to facilitate that occupants can be escaped from the vehicle when the vehicle is stopped at such a place having a possibility of an accident when the stop time exceeds a specified limit.
