Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door locking device with which a crewman can easily identify a locked condition where a door is locked to a vehicle body.SOLUTION: A door locking device comprises a latch mechanism 14 for latching a door 2 to a closed position, a lock mechanism 17 for locking the latch mechanism, a display/input device 28 including an optical display unit 34 and a touch sensor 32, a latch actuator 16, a vehicle condition sensor 40, a lock actuator 18, and a control unit 42. The control unit 42 is configured so that the optical display unit performs a dark display with low discriminability and an input from the touch sensor is ignored when the lock actuator is locked. The control unit 42 is also configured so that the optical display unit performs a bright display with high discriminability and the latch mechanism is unlatched by starting the latch actuator 16 based on an input from a touch sensor 32 when the lock actuator is unlocked.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
