To provide a door lock device capable of not only easily opening a door from an external part by inserting a metallic card incorporated with a magnet when becoming an unusable state by power source OFF or its other mechanical defect but also performing the locking function by locking a dead bolt by rotating a handle grip of an outer unit to the upper side in failure of a driving motor and an electronic component.

This door lock device is composed of the dead bolt 42 driven by a motor installed in an inner unit 2, a mortise lock 4 having a latch bolt 41 operating by the handle grips 22 and 32, a latch bolt driving means, a dead bolt driving means, an emergency releasing assembly 5 interlocking with the handle grip 32 of the outer unit 3 for unlocking the locked dead bolt in the power source OFF, and a spare card 6 inserted into this emergency releasing assembly and unlocking the dead bolt.
