A switch unit 9 formed by integrating an inside handle switch outputting an unlatch operation signal when an inside handle allowing a door to be released from the inside of a cabin is operated to unlatch with an outside handle switch outputting an unlatch operation signal when an outside handle allowing the door to be released from the outside of the cabin is operated to unlatch is incorporated in the housing 8 of the actuator for unlatch. Thus, the waterproofness of the device can be simplified, and the number of wire harnesses and connectors for wiring the switch unit 9 to an ECU is reduced. In addition, because the number of harnesses is reduced, the number of connections is reduced and, accordingly, the reliability of contact is increased.
