Abstract:
PURPOSE: To lock a door of a dual sliding door type elevator using a linkage and two blades by on locking unit.
CONSTITUTION: An elevator driven by a linkage of dual sliding door type comprises one locking unit, an air cord 20, a first hall door 16 mounted at the cord 20, and a second hall door 18 having a stopper 32 engaged with the cord 20. The door 18 is locked by the locking unit. The cord 20 is mounted with a contact member 34. When the doors 16, 18 are closed, the member 34 is brought into contact with the stopper 32 mounted at the door 18. Thus, when the door 18 is locked, the door 16 is not moved.
