PURPOSE: To reduce play of a door outside handle without sacrifice of the outside appearance, the quality and the operation of the door outside handle.

CONSTITUTION: A door outside handle 10 is supported at the axis 14 of door outside handle base to freely swing in the arrow A direction as shown in the drawing 1 and a handling space 18 is formed between the door outside handle 10 and the door outside handle base 12. A protrusion 20 is formed toward the door inside at the rear end 10C of door outside handle 10. The door outside 20A of the protrusion 20 is provided at the superposed position of the notch 10D of door outside handle 10, in the width direction of the door. In the door outside 20A of the protrusion 20, the length of the outer end 20B of the door is made large along the direction toward the protrusion 20 from the center 18A side of the handling space 18.
