Abstract:

To provide a door pull that enables even an aged person with impaired hands and fingers and a physically handicapped person to make their entrance or exit by opening or closing a sliding door without assistance when they can move their wrists, elbows, waists, feet, etc.

A door pull unit 10 provided in a sliding door D1 includes: a metal U-shaped member 12 that is attached in the state of being fitted into the door stop surface side of the sliding door D1; a first hand-hold portion 14a that is provided as an uneven surface on the one-surface side of the sliding door D1, on one arm portion 12a of the U-shaped member 12; and a second hand-hold portion 14b that is provided as an uneven surface on the other-surface side of the sliding door, on the other arm portion 12b of the U-shaped member 12. The first and second hand-hold portions 14a and 14b are formed by disposing wood rod-like members 11 with a gap at each predetermined spacing.
