Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a tubular reinforcement which has a bracket installed at both ends on an internal door so as to secure occupants against the side collision of an automobile.
CONSTITUTION: After both the end parts of a steel pipe 1 are divided into two parts only as far as fixed length, the above divided part is compressed into a flat shape, and a bracket 2 is inserted between two flattened plate-shaped bodies 4, and the plate-shaped bodies 4 and the bracket 2 are mutually joined by spot welding.
