Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a sealing device made of a high-density plastic or the like and bolted to the frame of the water gate, economical and easily installable by clasping a water gate.
CONSTITUTION: A seal 50 of a rectangular cross section, having two of A and B sections and made of an ultrahigh polymer polyethylene or the like is secured to a frame 10 with bolts 70. An O-ring cord or rubber sealant 65 is inserted in a groove 60 provided in the A section and a water gate 20 is clasped between the edge 80 of the A section and the piece 90 of the B section. Thus, the sealing efficiency of a sealing device can be enhanced by tightly fastening the bolts 70.
