Abstract:
To select a door based on the direction of collision predicted and to control the state of the selected door when the collision of the vehicle with an object is predicted.
An electric control device 31 of the door state control device 30 selects the door on the opposite side and controls the door in the unlock state when occurrence of collision of the vehicle 10 with the object on one side of the vehicle is predicted based on a signal from collision prediction sensors 20a to 20d. On the other hand, the device 31 selects all of the doors and controls the doors in the unlock state when occurrence of collision in the front or in the rear of the vehicle is predicted. Thereby, an occupant can rapidly escape from the door in the unlock state.
