This door stop for the door of a gate comprises a lower fitting 10 installed and fixed to a column and an upper fitting 20 placed and mounted on the lower fitting 10. The lower fitting 10 has a horizontal plate section 14, to which a hole section 12 for fixing in the same section as the center of the revolution of the upper fitting 20 and a circumferential-length hole 13 opened onto a circumference to the hole section 12 are arranged, together with a column mounting section, and the upper fitting 20 has a vertical plate section 24 disposed in upright at the end section of a horizontal plate section 23 and an elastic door stop section 25 arranged onto the outward surface of the vertical plate section together with the horizontal plate section 23, to which a hole section 21 for fixing at the center of revolution and an angle adjusting fixing hole section 22 for fastening the upper fitting 20 by an angle adjusting screw 30 at the required place of the circumferential-length hole 13 of the lower fitting 10 are disposed. An abutting angle against the door 1 of the gate of the elastic door stop section 25 can be set by adjusting the fixing place of the upper fitting 20 to the lower-fitting circumferential-length hole 13 by the angle adjusting screw 30.
