Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the work efficiency of fitting a door striker by caulking a tapping plate by an engaging piece cut up by a retainer, positioning and fitting same, and fixing the retainer to a car body. CONSTITUTION:A retainer 12 is turned up to form engaging pieces 12b, 12c, and a tapping plate 13 is caulked and fixed by the engaging pieces 12b, 12c. Thus, the tapping plate 13 is positioned to the retainer 12. Secondly, the retainer where the tapping plate 13 is fixed is fixed to a rear fender panel 11. In this condition, a bolt is screw-engaged with the tapping plate 13 to fit a door striker 14. Thus, it is not necessary for an operator to always adjust the taping plate 13 from his experience, and the adjustment is hardly needed so as to reduce the work manday and improved the work efficiency of fitting a door striker.
