Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3182461
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a suction head for electric vacuum cleaner, which can remove by sucking efficiently dust and dirt which are accumulated at a corner part which is formed by a surface to be cleaned and a rising surface, and can smoothly move the head main body in the lateral direction even when there exist long erecting piles on the surface to be cleaned, and by which a cleaning work can be easily performed.
CONSTITUTION: Tilted surfaces 43, 44 which are tilted more in the direction to go away from a surface to be cleaned C1 as going closer to the right and left sides of a head main body are formed at both right and left ends of the lower surface 13 of the head main body 10. The tilted surfaces form a sucking in space 47 with a cross section of approx. triangular shape between the surface to be cleaned and the rising surface, when the right and left side surfaces of the head main body are brought into contact with a rising surface C2 which continues from the surface to be cleaned. Then, on the lower surface of the head main body, communication passages 49a, 49b to communicate the sucking in space and the suction port are formed, and at the same time, the cross section area of the communication passage is set to be smaller than the cross section area of the sucking in space.
