Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the side collision resistance force by dispersing an external force acting from the side of a door through a longitudinal beam by engaging the upper and lower hinge parts with the longitudinal beam arranged inside the door for a vehicle, as for the door installed in free opening and closing on a car body through the upper and lower hinge parts.
CONSTITUTION: As for a door 1 for a vehicle, a body part is formed from the outer and inner panels 2 and 3, and a window frame 4 is arranged in the upper part of the body part. The door 1 is installed in free opening and closing on a car body side by the upper and lower hinge parts 6 and 7. In this case, a longitudinal beam 10 which is formed smaller than the door 1 and extended up to the opened port part on the car body side is built in the front part of the door 1. The upper and lower hinge parts 6 and 7 are fixed in the upper and lower parts on the front surface of the longitudinal beam 10. While, horizontal beams 12 and 13 extended from a bracket 11 which surrounds the lock part 8 of the door 1 are fixed in the upper and lower parts on the rear surface of the longitudinal beam 10. Accordingly, the external force acting from the side of the door 1 is dispersed through the longitudinal beam 10.
