PURPOSE: To obtain a dope dyed yarn for fishing net suitable for fishing net having excellent resistance to decomposition with amine, high modulus and high specific gravity comprising core component of a specific polyester and sheath component of a polyamide containing colorant.
CONSTITUTION: The objective dope dyed yarn is composed of core-sheath type conjugate fiber comprising (A) core component of a polyester containing ethylene terephthalate as principal ingredient and (B) sheath component of a polyamide. In said fiber, content of the component A is 30-90wt.% and colorant is contained in the component B in an amount of 0.1-5wt.% to the component B. Furthermore, said fiber has ≥0.8 intrinsic viscosity [η], 160×10-3-190×10-3 birefringence and ≥1.380g/cm3 density of the component A and ≥2.8 relative viscosity in sulfuric acid [ηr], ≥45×10-3 birefringence and ≥1.135g/cm3 of the component B.
