To obtain a dose rate measuring apparatus capable of providing accurate information by which whether a rise in dose rate is caused by natural radon/thoron contribution due to rainfall/snowfall or reactor facility contribution can be instantaneously determined by measuring also average energy of γ-rays in the same time axis when measuring the dose rate on the basis of a signal pulse detected by a radiation detector.
A dose rate measuring apparatus includes: a radiation detector 1 for receiving incidence of a radiation and outputting an analog pulse; and a signal processing part 3 having a wave height measuring function for measuring a peak wave height after converting the inputted analog pulse into a digital pulse and a wave height spectral measuring function for measuring a wave height spectrum on the basis of measured wave height data to calculate and output a dose rate and average energy on the basis of measured wave height spectral data. The signal processing part 3 calculates the dose rate and the average energy on the basis of the wave height spectral data of the same time axis and the same wave height range.
