Title:
DOT SERIAL PRINTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH02143885
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable even a small character to be printed with high density and to enable a large character to be easily varied in density by changing a dot pitch by arbitrarily inclining a printing part arranged in a line vertically.

CONSTITUTION: A printing head 1 is mounted on a guide shaft 5 through an angle regulating part 3 and a carrier 4. A printing part 2 is normally controlled so as to be set vertically to the guide shaft 5 for printing large characters. When small characters are to be printed with this printer, the printing part 2 is set into an inclined state from the normal state. In this manner, a dot pitch in printing can be reduced, and the small characters can be printed under the control of an inclined angle and a printing timing.
