To obtain a double cloth, having a moire pattern, capable of colorfully changing the moire pattern thereof by moving both a dyed cloth and a mesh cloth and excellent in designability by superposing the dyed cloth of two or more different color tones dyed in a regular repeated pattern with the same unit length for each color on the mesh cloth having regularly arranged holes.

This double cloth having a moire pattern is obtained by superposing a mesh cloth 3 having 2L width of holes 5 in the direction intersecting warp yarns (4a) having a thickness of unit length L at right angles on a patterned dyed cloth 1 dyed in a multilineal pattern, etc., composed of repetitively dyed parts (2a), (2b) and (2c) having a width of unit length L and different color tones and fixing both by quilted seams 7, etc. The half width of the dyed part (2a), the full width of the dyed part (2b) and the half width of the dyed part (2c) are viewed through each hole 5 of the mesh cloth 3 and a rainbowy moire pattern appears.
