Abstract:
PURPOSE: To open and close a pair of doors in conjunction with each other, allow the pair of doors to be operated in conjunction with each other using a simple structure, reduce the rate of failure while facilitating maintenance, and allow racks to smoothly travel even if the racks are operated in conjunction with pinions, so as to smoothly open and close the doors.
CONSTITUTION: A pair of doors 2 are disposed beneath an upper rail body 1. A door roller 4 provided in an upper frame 3 located at the upper end of each door 2 is mounted in the upper rail 1 in such a manner as to freely travel thereon so that the pair of doors 2 freely horizontally open and close. A pair of traveling bodies 30 extending in the longitudinal direction of the upper rail body 1 are disposed in the upper rail body 1 and a traveling roller 31 provided in each traveling body 30 is used to allow the traveling bodies 30 to freely travel. Racks 5 each extending in the longitudinal direction of the upper rail body 1 are mounted in the pair of traveling bodies 30 and a pinion 6 is interposed between the pair of racks 5 so that the pair of racks 5 are operated in conjunction with each other. One of the pair of doors 2 is connected to one traveling body 30 at its upper frame 3 and the other door 2 is connected to the other traveling body 30 at its upper frame 3.
