Abstract:

PURPOSE: To avoid the jamming of a double pipe, and to enable the boring of a long hole even in any condition of the ground by using a device that is made up of a center-hole drifter or the like, when boring is carried out by giving a rotation and blow to both the inner pipe and the outer pipe.
CONSTITUTION: A boring device that has been made up of a center-hole drifter 4 for giving a rotation and blow to an outer pipe 1 by holding the middle of the outer pipe 1, a blow-boring type down-the-hole hammer 3 continuously provided at the end of an inner pipe 2, and a rotary boring machine 5 that is connected to the base end of the inner pipe for giving only rotation to the inner pipe is installed. Then, rotation is given to the inner pipe 2 by the rotating chuck 51 of the rotary boring machine 5, and at the same time compressed air is supplied to the down-the-hole hammer 3, and boring is carried out by the rotation and blow of an inner bit 31. And then, the center hole drifter 4 is operated to transmit the rotation and blow of a rotary chuck 41 to the outer pipe 1, and boring is carried out by the rotation and blow of an outer bit 11 at the end. Further, the excavated earth is discharged to the outside of the hole through the space between both pipes 1 and 2.
