Abstract:
To provide a twin roll type continuous casting device capable of correcting the meander caused by the distortion of a thin slab produced from a space between cooling rolls and capable of stably casting the thin slab.SOLUTION: Provided is a twin roll type continuous casting device comprising: a guide member 31 having a guide face 32 extending parallel to axis lines of cooling rolls 11; and relative speed regulation means 38 regulating a relative speed between a production speed of a thin slab 1 produced from the cooling rolls 11 and a carrying speed of the thin slab 1 carried via pin rolls 21. The guide member 31 is located between a roll kissing point of the cooling rolls 11, 11 and the pinch rolls 21 in a horizontal direction and further arranged lower than the pinch rolls 21 located on the lower side of the thin slab 1, the carrying speed is made slower than the production speed by the relative speed regulation means 38, and the thin slab 1 is arranged so as to be contacted with the guide face 32 and further be sagged downward between the cooling rolls 11 and the guide member 31, and between the guide member 31 and the pinch rolls 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
