To provide a double-side stencil printing device which can reduce a treatment time to printing by suppressing the running cost of an apparatus by improving the efficiency of mimeograph plate making and an image forming method of the device.
An opened manuscript is read by a manuscript reading part 10, and by the manuscript data division means of an image processing part 12, read data are divided into the first and second page manuscript data. By the blank judgement means of the image processing part 12, it is determined whether the first and second respective page manuscript data are blank or not. When the first or second page manuscript data are blank, mimeograph plate making corresponding to the page manuscript data by a plate making part 30 is not carried out.
