To improve a suction force of a carrier belt, in a double-sided printer having a storage part.
The double-sided printer has a first printing part 3 for performing printing on one surface of paper P1, the storage part 5 for storing carried-in paper P2 by carrying one surface-printed paper P2 inside and a second printing part 7 for performing printing on the other surface of the paper P2 carried out form the storage part 5. The storage part 5 has a carrying means 51 for successively holding and carrying one surface-printed paper P2 by and to a final carrying-in position in the storage part 5. The carrying means 51 also has a plurality of suction chambers 511a and 511b in the carrying direction for generating the suction forces in respective through-holes 513c and 513d by bringing the inside into a negative pressure state by forming a plurality of through-holes 513c and 513d in the carrying direction at the carrier belts 513a and 513b, and air exhaust means 515a and 515b for exhausting air in the respective suction chambers 511a and 511b.
