To provide a double-sided printing apparatus achieving stabilization in refeeding paper sheets by suction-carrying, regardless of a variation in thickness of paper sheet.
The double-sided printing apparatus 1 includes: a first printing part 3 to print on one side of the paper sheet; a storage part 5 to store a plurality of one-side printed paper sheets; and a second printing part 7 to print on the other side of the paper sheet carried from the storage part 5. The storage part 5 has a carry-in position, into which the one-side printed paper sheet is carried, and a carry-out position, from which the stored paper sheet is carried out, with a predetermined distance therebetween, and includes a holding means 53 configured to successively hold the paper sheets carried into the carry-in position and move the paper sheets from the carry-in position toward the carry-out position in the overlapping state with the predetermined distance between the paper sheets; a suction-carrying means 56 configured to successively suckingly hold the paper sheets which have arrived at the carry-out position and carry the paper sheets to the second printing means; and an auxiliary carrying means 54 configured, upon carrying by the suction-carrying means, to help the suction-carrying means 56 to carry the paper sheets by applying force to move the paper sheets, which have arrived at the carry-out position, in the carrying direction.
