To provide a double-sided printing device printable on both sides of printing paper having the same width in a direction orthogonal to a conveying direction and different length in the conveying direction.
The double-sided printing device 1 includes a paper feeding part 60, printing parts 40A and 40B, a paper reversing part 80, a paper storage part 90, a paper gripping pawl part 110, a paper gripping pawl conveyance part 120, a paper ejection part 140 and a controller 150. The length of first printing paper P2 (or P1) in the conveying direction is detected in a period from starting operation of the paper feeding part 60 till the time when the first printing paper P2 is carried in the paper storage part 90 and held by the paper gripping pawl part 110. The paper gripping pawl part 110 is set to a prescribed position through the paper gripping pawl conveyance part 120 in accordance with the detected result.
