To provide a double-sided USB connector and a double-sided USB adapter of which double-sided insertion is facilitated more.
The double-sided USB connector includes a plurality of contact pins 11 as conductive media for grounding, power feeding, and signal transmission, a pair of pin support bodies 12 to support the pins 11 and made of resin or the like, a pin cover connecting part 13 in which the outside in the longitudinal direction of both pin support bodies 12 is surrounded so as to be housed inside thereof and into which a male type USB connector is inserted from an opening part formed on the tip side, and a connector housing 14 which surrounds and supports at least side faces in the longitudinal direction of the pin cover connecting part 13 while holding the opening part. The pin support bodies 12 have a constitution that enables them to move to a cable side in parallel with the side faces of the pin cover connecting part 13 according to an external force and to return to the opening part side when the external force is removed.
